My first book was handmade, with illustrations in crayon and an author photo of me taped to the back. Since then, I’ve written countless short stories, poems, two novels, and even dabbled in creative nonfiction.

For most of my life, I only wrote fiction: short stories and YA fantasy books. That is, until I studied abroad from 2021-2022 and discovered my love for poetry. I wrote poems every day, about everything, from how I felt, the adventures I went on, my home, and school abroad. Now, I write poetry about western Washington, growing up on the Puget Sound, identity, and my family roots.

In 2025, I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Studies: Creative Writing, with a minor in German. During my time there, I was the Social Media Coordinator for Willow Springs Magazine and Head Editor for Northwest Boulevard, and had 11 publications (Northwest Boulevard, COOP, Clawson-Youngs Reports).

Since graduating, I have been working in Higher Ed and writing and crafting in my free time. I love journaling and scrapbooking in all ways, from traditional journaling, to junk journaling, to a big binder scrapbook. I love a DIY, making flyer invitations for a themed night with my friends, and adventures big and small. I feel the most like me when I’m traveling with my boyfriend, writing at a local coffee shop, reading on my couch, or singing karaoke to my cat.

If you decide to stick around with me on this site, you can expect lots of talk about writing, crafts, living creatively, traveling, and life in my 20’s.

I’ve been a writer my entire life.
